My Experience(s) With Simple Past Tense

This was my personal experience in this university. It was my first year in Gunadarma University and in my first semester as well. There were so many student activity, but I choose two option. They were Snap or Photography and Swara Darmagita Choir. I didn’t have any camera and I’d prefer singing, then I choose  the choir and left the Photography activity.

The first time I joined the choir it wasn’t that easy, it needed a long process, step by step to be a choir member of Gunadarma University when first stage of selection I had to read notes, guessed a note when someone played the piano and it was judged by the choir’s mentor for knowing my voice level. After got selected I got voice level at Alto 1.

I enjoyed being at the choir team because I gained so many friends and learnt so many thing. I gained friends from many different major and also knew the seniors. I learnt how to sing properly following the notes, from arranged my respiratory, diaphragm to how to read notes with a good technique to earned a good voice.

I went to many choir events with my choir team. My first event was at freshmen orientation program in my university in kalimalang to promoted our student activity to the freshmen. We sang Gunadarma Hymne and Gunadarma March.

Beside that, I went to 2012 Gunadarma University Graduation in Jakarta Convention Center. The event was formal and I was so excited because that was my first time sang in front of so many people. It was such an honor and I was pround to be a part of the choir team. In that event I sang Indonesia raya at the graduation day.

The choir team had ever held a concert in D hall Gunadarma University, but I wasn’t able to come to the event. Then I quit from the choir team because I focused to study. It was an honor for me to be in the team.
